The series returns to a two-day format for the Sydney Sunset Showdown, with racing condensed to Friday and Saturday from the more recent three-day events.
Eight categories will hit the track across the event, with the TA2 Muscle Car Series headlining alongside a revamped Australian Endurance Championship (AEC).
TA2 will race four times, twice each in the twilight and with the complete effect of SMP’s lights.
AEC enjoyed a successful debut of its new format at Queensland Raceway, with a strong mix of production cars and GT4-spec machinery on track.
Its weekend will culminate in a three-hour enduro in the middle of Saturday, with 19 cars expected to compete.
The AASA Australian Formula Ford Championship returns for its fourth round, where young chargers Oli Wickham, Seth Burchartz and Isaac Demellweek will continue a close championship battle.

Legend Cars Australia, the Australian IRC Racing Series, and Formula RX8 return as the remaining Hi-Tec Oils Super Series regulars.
Rounding out the undercard is the Australian Drivers’ Championship, and a newcomer to the series in Sports Compact.
The Victorian state-based category will make its debut appearance at Sydney Motorsport Park.
On-track action will begin at 8:30am AEST on Friday July 17 and 8:45am on Saturday July 18, continuing through to 10:30pm.
TV times are yet to be confirmed, however the broadcast will feature a mix of free-to-air and pay TV, plus live streams on the Hi-Tec Oils Super Series YouTube channel.
